Barbara pioneered the Youth Ministry Department at St. Anthony of Padua, and she oversees the management of The EDGE, LIFETEEN, and Confirmation with over 1000 registered youth! She also oversees the rest of faith formation for the entire parish.
Shelly Wilson - Confirmation Coordinator
Shelly is a long time resident of The Woodlands, TX. She graduated from Pittsburg State University in Kansas with a BS in Business Administration. She and her husband Gregg are very proud of their four children Nathan, Hilary, Christopher and Rachel who have all been a part of youth ministry at STAOP. Shelly has many talents that she learned from growing up on a farm in Kansas...her cooking is the best! On summer trips with Life Teen she embraces every activity and is apparently really great at white water rafting. She has brought our confirmation program to a whole new level and loves walking with our 10th graders as they are "sealed" with the gifts of the Holy Spirit!
Jonathan Cardinal - Coordinator of Youth Ministry
Jonathan He grew up in League City, TX and had never seen snow until he moved to Steubenville, OH where he received a BA in Theology and Catechetics (concentration in Youth Ministry) from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He also received his MA in Catechetics and Evangelization from FUS.
He loves the Lord and seeks to make everything in life an opportunity to bring people to Jesus – from helping create a place at St. Anthony's teens can call "home" and walking with them, to playing rugby and convincing people that Luke Skywalker and Jesus have a lot of the same qualities (It’s true).
Paige Ingersoll - Life Teen Assistant Coordinator
Paige grew up in Spring, TX and attended Klein Oak High School and then went on to study at the University of Texas in Austin. At UT, she received a BS in Corporate Communications (with a concentration in Human Relations). After two years of working in the corporate world and with a lot of prayer and discernment, Paige felt called to begin working for the Church and made the leap in the summer of 2014 to come work for St. Anthony's. She's beyond happy and fulfilled working with teens and loves journeying with them to encounter Christ in a real and authentic way.
Paige longs to make her entire life an everlasting “Yes!” and gift to the Father and seeks to guide and encourage others to give themselves to Him as well.
- Youth Ministry Assistant
Audry (Raines) McCarthy was a freshman in high school the night that St. Anthony’s hosted its first ever Life Night! She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2006 and has 8+ years of Healthcare Administration experience. She came onto the Youth Ministry Department at St. Anthony’s in the Summer of 2014 and has been rocking and rolling to help the team prepare weekly for the 1,000 teens that walk through the doors!
Audry is married to John McCarthy (a University of Michigan Alumni…Go Blue!) and they have a daughter, Rose, and a son, Patrick. They are full of energy and the cutest things you have ever seen! (Not biased---AT ALL!) She is also seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and eventually her dream of a Master’s Degree in Midwifery.
- Confirmation Assistant
Diane started out as a Confirmation volunteer for 2 years before beginning work as our Confirmation/YM assistant. She and her beloved husband Matt have 2 children: Crystal is a recent grad of UT Austin and just starting her career, and Spencer is entering his senior year at CPHS.
Diane is a graduate from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing. She enjoyed her work as a retail buyer in Texas and Michigan before “retiring" after Spencer was born, and is thrilled to re-enter the workforce and join the incredible staff at St. Anthony's as a support to the leadership and parishioners, and a servant for Christ. Favorite verses: Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd..." and Psalm 119:115 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
